I was here today with my ex boyfriend we tried to purchase a card out of the kiosk which took our money and gave us a receipt for a $2 refund. So as we go up to tap I tap my card and the man is standing there so we tried to explain to him what the receipt in hand he starts screaming I know you guys know you can't do this you do this all the time at Union station I have never met this man before I paid because I have a handicap disabled card. He then started screaming at me to go back past the terminal even though I've paid and we're trying to explain to him that it took the last of our cash at the kiosk and that we have a receipt. You can clearly see him in the video helping the next person who walked up with their receipt from the kiosk he is clearly calling or checking to see if the receipt is valid and he allowed them to pass but just prior screamed and yelled at me at my ex-boyfriend that we had to go back and that he knew us and we do this all the time. So that would be impossible that he has met me before and saying I do this all the time because my card is currently loaded with ample money so that would not be correct. I end up paying TWICE ! The following video is our interaction after I was accused of I guess jumping the terminals and profiled by this man.

the Metro Subways are the best kept Secret in L.A... for less than 2 Bucks you can travel South to Long Beach, North Hollywood, East to Pasadena or West to Santa Monica...

The homeless has this place looking like a third world country. The place stinks, there is trash everywhere, and the smelly homeless people are dirty as heck. The city of Los Angeles needs to do something about this station

There is an extensive train system that many do not find out about unless they are tourists and take the time to look it up. This is the center of most of the lines. The red line serves Hollywood and North Hollywood. The Purple Line serves Koreatown and soon to be extended to Westwood. The Blue Line goes to Long Beach. And the Expo Line goes to Downtown Santa Monica. There are apps for Android and Iphone that give you real time updates as well.

One of the busiest train stations! It's underground. You can take the train to all the way down to Long Beach or Santa Monica Beach. You can also go one more level to go to Hollywood or Koreatown. The train toward Koreatown is extended to Beverly Hills and Westwood.
