A really nice clean and fresh underground station that is served by the Circle and District lines. The outside of this station is a nice glass building inside the ticket hall is large and wide with plenty of ticket barriers to use. There is lifts available to both platforms also you can interchange with national rail thameslink trains. Blackfriars Station is a very busy station especially in rush hour.

Trains to Brighton Stevenage Peterborough St Alban's Bedford and St Pancreas. Not much of a station, but what a situation. What other station gives you such views from a platform. A destination in its own right.

I travelled by Thameslink National Train to Blackfriars Station. From there, I took the district line to reach St James Park. The journey was very comfortable. The sight on the Blackfriars was mind-blowing. Seeing the river flow and the beauty of the skyscrapers caught my attention. It is worth watching this for a while and thinking of God's mighty work to ease down the stress of daily life. Loved the place.

I really do love Blackfriars station, especially with the fact that it’s practically on the river Thames! You get the sub-surface district and circle line trains coming here, as well as being on the Thameslink. The underground platforms are well kept and since there are only 2 it’s easy to know where you’re going. There are many thameslink platforms as you get trains going in all directions: Sutton, Croydon, Bromley, Finsbury, and West Hampstead. However they definitely look the best with a great view of the river Thames and the shard.

The station entrance looks nice all glass front but the actual platform areas are standard with most others this station is a close walk to millennium bridge which is worth a visit.

Modern, clean and austere subway and train station situated over the Thames. The view is beautiful and the station is rarely busy. You can find trains leaving for different destinations, like Luton (including the airport) and Gatwick.
