Rode the SunRail this Friday from DeLand to Winter Park and absolutely loved it! Only $7.50 for round trip which is much cheaper than gas and I didn’t have to sit through traffic. The seating was spacious and comfy and the service was great. The views from the top floor were nice and they even had restrooms on board. The only thing I wish is that they ran on weekends! I would love to ride it more often.

Christian was the attendant at this station and he was so kind and informative. He was proactive and showed my party websites that shows all train routes and times. He greeted everyone and talked with everyone. He made sure everyone was checked in and asked everyone if they had questions. He made sure to tell everyone that if they need help with baggage he is more than happy to help. It is rare to encounter people like that! Give him a raise and promotion!

Nice station for the SunRail. I am not usually a fan of places that only have computers to buy tickets but the staff were extremely helpful in showing me how to get started and how to use the card,

Of all the SunRail stations probably the nicest one no bums or homeless people. I actually left my e-bike tied up for 2 days at the station on the bike ramp locked and no one messed with it it was ready to go when I came back on the train the next day. The Amtrak people are helpful on the weekend when the SunRail is not running the only thing about the Amtrak is it's more expensive less frequent and you can't bring on a bike. There's even a bar directly across the street that gives you a discount for riding SunRail. Very difficult to get a uber from this location make sure you have transportation if it's after dark because lots of wildlife in the area including wolves alligators bobcats etc .....

Nice little train station. If you are going to be waiting outside I deffiently reccomened a mosquito wrist band lmfao. Correct hours of opening are also 9:45 a.m.

Yesterday I started a trip from Deland Florida to Portland Oregon and I just need to praise all the amtrak employees that assisted me in all aspects to begin my journey Sandra, Barbara and Christian you all were a blessing to me and I believe an asset to amtrak.
