This is my second car bought from Shotts Motorz. My daughter still driving first one. The staff could not be more helpful. I am not the best tech person in the world so one of the staff took me through the car transfer for my daughter then Ali took me through step by step online for my car insurance changes. It is the first place I look and again I am very happy with my new car. I highly recommend Shotts motorz to everyone looking for a car. All the staff were patient, professional and helpful. Didn't actually buy a car from here, but the service was first class, Ali was a gentleman, we left a holding fee before we could view the car for my daughter (unfortunately she didn't like the lovely wee car) and the holding fee was refunded straight away. Would deal with this company again..

Bought a vw golf from here back in August. Fab little car that’s running great. Had it in my local garage for a service and health check and they confirmed everything looks good on it. Ali was fab to deal with and very patient when my bank were a nightmare over transferring money for the car. Would recommend and would use again. Thanks

Awful.at viewing was told car would be delivered in 2 days.Saturday,dod,after multiple calls im told car will arrive tomorrow
sunday no car no call,
tuesday after multiple calls im told the car has a problem and will now not be delivered until sunday. For the inconvenience im told delivery will be free.
Sunday comes,again no car no calls
monday i call to be told car will be delivered 6pm...6:30 i call and text, to recieve a reply reading the truck the car was coming on got a flat tyre(dont know when it happened or if i was going to be informed) so it will come tomorrow
Tuesday comes a whole 11 days since agreed delivery date,a whole 11 days of paying insurance, road tax and hire car... the car arrives. 1st problem the key is not fixed as told by 1st employee at viewing,i was given 50£ to replace myself .
after signing agreement the man whips out a m.o.t certificate that they failed to show at the viewing while taking my 200£ cash deposit. Due to the information on the mot certificate i told the man i can accept the car.He told me its good enought for him,i pointed to my 5yo ,told him its not good enough for us . If it was an easy fix as claimed them why not do it before sale.
Managed was called
The manager claimed i was fine with the mot needing renewed in January, that i should have asked them to put new mot on it and that by saying i was ok with doing the mot i was ok to pay for the repairs even thought the car came with 6 months warranty .i told him that wasn't the case,yes i can take the car for mot but anything needing fixed should be covered under the warranty and if i had been shown the mot certificate i would not have agreed to buy the car. I would have continued to look for a car,not lost out on insurance,tax or had to have hired a car , that i cannot go ahead with the purchase,i cannot accept the car with the problem(Especially not after a year of being untreated)

I have asked multiple times for the deposit to be refund. Manager replied to 1 message stating he will be keeping some for the delivery.
I replied stating i do not accept that at al i was told twice delivery was free for the inconvenience and he broke the contract to keep any deposit by not delivering the car when agreed .
That was days ago. I have not had any calls,messages,emails or funds returned

Dealing with the company is an absolute nightmare. Never had to chase someone so hard to give them my money or hound them to return it. They will have you forking out for their incompetence and say you owe them for it . Absolutely ridiculous

I purchased a used Mercedes-Benz CLS 2 years ago which is still running great. Extremely reasonable price for a low mileage car in comparison to other places as I had been looking for a while. I also received a good price for the old car that I traded in. It was a very well organised collection as I had to book an appointment and was given full attention during it by the young lad. A seamless car buying experience.

Very pleasant and professional staff. Mr Ali has executed all the promises and additional requests free off addiotonal charge. 6 months guarantee on car, all advisories and minors from MOT repaired as requested. There is a minor chip on windshiel and Mr Ali did not hesitate to compensate on it. Always vety quick on responding and very professional.
I am very pleased with the service!
