WARNING Buyer be aware! On August 19th I purchased a car off Bring a Trailer that was represented by Autosport Design of Station New York. I now know after receiving the car that this dealer didn't represent the car with full transparency. When I received the car it was running poorly. I then had the car inspected by a professional mechanic. He discovered the following; a push rod through the rocker arm. Severe tire rubbing due to oversize rims on both front and rear. Dysfunctional Speedometer. A Battery that wouldn't hold a charge. A Broken steering wheel spoke. Numerous paint flaws that weren't pointed out in video presentation done by Antoine Crettol VP. These issues would of been impossible to overlook! There were other mechanical issues discovered that would of been found had the dealer inspected the vehicle prior to listing the car for sale. Autosport Designed knowingly didn't disclose the true condition of this car that they were representing even at the cost of protecting their own reputation. Unfortunately It is apparent now based on numerous orher reviews posted on Google and other forms, that I'm not the first customer to be disappointed in the car received by Autosport Design. This is a very serious situation when one spend $$$ and you are unable to drive the car at receiving. On September 4th. I requested a call back through my sales representative Jack Burns from the owner Tom Papadopoulos to discuss my purchase. As of this review I have yet to receive a call back. I will never buy another car sight unseen due to my experience with this dealer. Bring a Trailer needs to be more diligent on who they are representing as well. The success of their site is based on having sellers providing accurate information. I realize that all of us as individuals have to be our own advocate. I've been a follower of sales on a Bring a Trailer for a long time and had a false sense of security and blind trust that has now been tainted due to this experience. I strongly suggest if considering purchasing a car from a distance from Autosport Design having it inspected by a 3rd party OR save yourself the mental anguish and avoid this dealer!
Autosport Design is a textbook example of what gives used car dealers a bad reputation.

I am pleased to mention that I had a more than great experience purchasing my mint 2000 BMW M5 from Auto Sport Design. While the car was not 100% perfect on the day of purchase, I proceeded to take it home because ASD reassured me that any and all issues would be resolved. And they fulfilled that promise. A couple issues manifest themselves within the first few hundred miles and ASD promptly picked the car up via enclosed carrier, repaired the car, and redelivered it back to my home 1.5hrs away. I would buy from them again. Thank you.

I purchased a car from Bring a trailer and not happy in the fact that they did not disclose the following:
Gas tank that leaks
Windshield cracked and was drilled to prevent the cracks from growing larger, the only way you could tell was blowing up over 5o pictures to see this spider crack. They could of disclose this!
Brakes are mushy, not sure if its bad fluid, worn pads etc. until i pull off the drums to see the shoes!
Interior dash cover is pulling apart
AC is not blowing cold air as was mentioned in video of car!

Not sure I would trust what is said until you can actually look at the physical car

Just stopped in today and had the pleasure of spending time with Antoine C. He was extremely kind, humble, and supportive. I was taken back of the customer service and facility. It's like stepping into Jay Leno's garage. Highly recommend this place. Oh, the owner was present as well and was extremely friendly and kind as well.

I’d love to recommend these guys but I can’t I’m afraid, I bought a 20 yr old Ferrari from them that I couldn’t see in person prior to buying and during the sale process they were extremely helpful but when the Ferrari arrived it was evident that the dashboard had quite bad leather shrinkage on it. Tom the owner seemed to think this was part of the process of buying a vintage car, but as I pointed out to him that a dealer of their caliber would hopefully be honest and state any imperfections prior to any sale to at least give me the option to buy, decline or negotiate. He did not. On further inspection you can see on older photos that this was a problem with this car on previous sales by them. When I pointed this out, they felt they had no duty of care and that it was my fault. With $5k to fix it, I thought I’d do the honourable thing and offer to spilt the cost but Tom constantly stuck to his view point and not that of a customer buying a car unseen, which in a world where this happens all the time, you hope that a good dealer points these types of issues out. In the end he just ignored me. Very disappointing experience and dishonest approach. Buyer beware.

Lotus Evora GT........OMG what a car! Is it possible to squeeze 416 hp out of a 3104 LB car? the answer is YES!!!! a six-speed automatic transmission and the torque grows to 332 lb-ft with zero to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, and the top speed of 174 mph. Enough spec., this is one fun ride. This vehicle had all the bells & a few whistles. Alpine sound system, Carbon fiber package and specialty tuned exhaust were all options from the dealer. I drove it in "Sport" mode for most of the time which gave it higher RPM's and a sweet sound even standing still. Go with "race" mode and hold on for dear life!
I've driven several Evora's in the past and they were just OK. This, my friends is an entirely different car. Looks Great, drive fantastic, cost was well worth it and time I spend driving with my son.....priceless.
Thank you Tom for a great car and remarkable service from Autosport Designs. Wasn't my first car from them and will surely not be my last.

Solid group of people I dealt with at this shop, namely Gary, Matt, and Jack. Gary and Jack were very responsive on the phone and over email. Matt diagnosed a tricky PASM issue very quickly and got it all fixed no problem. Would love to do business with them in the future.
