We called and inconvenienced the lady answering the phone asking if they had a particular shoe and size before we drove an hour to the store. She came back on the phone and said, "The man said we have a lot of those you have to come look for your size." Seriously. Sorry people asked you to do your job that pays your bills lady. Yall are so lazy. I would never buy shoes here.

I would like to recognize Darius who took extra special care of me during a shoe exchange on 09/01/23. I called the Hammond Aire location to see if they had a different color of the shoes I had purchased recently at the Siegen Ln. location. Darius was very polite when I called the store and told me he did have the color I wanted and that he would hold the shoes with my name so I could come into store and exchange them. When I arrived an hour later, the store was full of customers and Darius was the only employee working in the front of the store. He was very calmly multi-tasking by answering the phone, checking out customers in line, and answering customer’s questions. He was very kind, patient and helpful to every single customer, and, believe me everyone was not as patient as Darius. When my turn arrived, I told him how much I appreciated his help and I also complimented him on the OUTSTANDING JOB he was doing with all of the customers he was helping. He just smiled and said, thank you, I appreciate your kindness. The only delay I experienced was waiting for the manager to come to the register to approve the exchange. I told her Darius deserves a BIG raise because of his excellent customer service. I have worked with the public for forty years and I am acutely aware of customer service. Darius is a GEM!

I am really big on customer service and the employee working this morning was great. I didn't catch her name but she gave a warm greeting to everyone as they entered the store. When she checked me out I couldn't help but to think how much care AMD concern she put just into situating and packaging the shoes, as if they were gold. She was also very thorough and checked each pair of shoes to make sure the sizes matched and there was a right and left shoe in each box. Great warm experience. I will continue to shop at this location.

I talked to three customer service reps and every single one was RUDE! I asked the first one a question about what is on sale, her response was "What do you THINK?"
Wow.
I kept shopping, and couldn't find my size and the next representative was unhelpful but not completely rude. She told me to get them to call the other store. I hear two other employees complaining about another employee, instead of helping people as I wait for the cashier. Then the cashier refuses to call the other store. I said, "So you aren't going to help me?" And she replied, " No, not today." I told her that they have serious customer service issues, and she just shrugged. As I walked out the door someone else yelled "have a nice day" , in a sarcastic way. I will never ever be back.

Desagradable. No me cambiaron los zapatos porque los puse una sola vez por una hora. Eran bien incómodos y molestaban mucho. Me trataron muy mal. Tuve que echarlos al zafacon frente a la tienda porque no podía usar la zapatos. Perdí el dinero. Muy grosera la gerente.

Where do I begin? I've been into this location periodically throughout the past couple of years and have never really been impressed. However I came twice during the holiday season and have had excellent customer service each time. Haven't seen this store this clean in YEARS.

Every time I have been the store has been a wreck. The customers who have undoubtedly caused the destruction are loud and obnoxious. The cashiers treat everyone like a thief. Good place to buy larger shoe sizes especially since Payless is gone now. Not impressed with the prices, though.
