Came in to purchase a 2016 C450 on 11/19, already had everything ready through Driveway, there was a bad dent on the rear driver quarter panel that wasn’t on the pics or seen before. They wouldn’t even lower the price of the vehicle or fix. Vehicle is priced as if it is perfect condition, I ended up walking out without the vehicle. Wish we could’ve came to a deal, but they told me to take it up with driveway to negotiate, but they said the pricing is all up to the dealer.

I’ve been trying to reach a sales manager, but each time no answer from Eduardo.
It seems there’s lack of communication and miscommunication.

I appreciated the customer service. Aside from there being a mass amount of vehicles and things going on, your representatives were amazing. They were so attentive and never left me wondering if I was forgotten. A huge shout out to Mr. Martin Alvarez, who went above and beyond to support the service and information that I needed.

Beware the cursed Downtown VW Dealership! This place is a house of horrors that will drain your wallet and sanity faster than a vampire drains blood.

I walked onto their lot recently, and it felt like entering the Twilight Zone. The salesman, tried to lure me in with promises of their "exclusive" certified SUV models. Spoiler alert: these cars don't exist! Their inventory is as real as the headless horseman.

The prices were scarier than any haunted house - astronomical figures that would make even Dracula faint. When I tried to negotiate, they cast a spell of confusion with terrifying offers that somehow always make the car cost more.

Attempting to complain is like screaming into the void. Their customer service is staffed by zombies who ignore you or respond with nonsensical moans.

The whole experience was a nightmare straight out of a B-grade horror flick. Save your soul (and your money) and run far, far away from this den of automotive demons. This place isn't a dealership - it's a portal to car-buying hell!

This place is the absolute worst. First time I take my car here, they ignored my actual concerns and gave me a list of stuff I wasn't worried about. I assumed the thing I brought it in for was resolved so I approved the other things they wanted to fix. My mistake...

Had to go back for the same problem. Turns out my battery needs replacing. Clearly shows that on the diagnostic, which means they never checked that in the first time I went. Further confirming that they didn't listen to my concerns and didn't do a thorough diagnostic since this is supposed to be part of that process.
Now they are keeping my car for the whole weekend just to swap out a battery without even communicating that to me. Because I had nowhere to go and nothing to do, right?

I only found that out because I reached out after realizing it was close to closing time and I was wondering why I received no further communication.

Trusting this place was a mistake. Never again.

I had been talking to the “manager” for 2 days about purchasing a car. We came to an agreement and I sent him my ID and insurance because he said it would make the sale faster. I was gonna pick up the car the next day and pay for it. But the “manager” says he is gonna sell it to someone else instead and that he talked to the real manager. This place is not legit and will try to play tricks on you to get you to pay more. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT

Excellent service! Super quick, took care of my issue, suggested some additional services but wasn't pushy in the slightest which I really appreciated. Will definitely take my car back here if and when I need to in the future!

Absolutely terrible service. I had a 9am appointment for an oil change. I waited in line for almost an hour just to have my car checked in. Then it’s another 2 hour wait for an oil change. I ask to speak to the manger and they’re out sick. I ask to speak to the general manager of the dealership and they’re not in either. Complete and utter lack of consideration for customers. Why can so many people make an appointment if you don’t have the staff to handle it? Completely irresponsible. I will not be leasing another car with them.

I'd been going to the Santa Monica location for years so when it closed, right before I had a real car issue, I wasn't excited about having to find somewhere new. Obviously, no one loves having to bring the car in for repairs, but VW DTLA got the job done as well as can be expected. My one critique is there were some pretty confusing communications about how long repairs would take and when I could actually come in to pick up my vehicle. Otherwise, everyone was very polite and I have to give a special shout-out to Jasminne who helped me out.
