DeBary Sunrail Station - DeBary, Florida

We met 12 other friends at the DeBary station with our bicycles and boarded the train to Altamonte Springs for my birthday & a friends birthday. Rode bikes back to the station. What a great way to explore towns along the Sunrail route. Take the train explore a town have lunch ride bike back or take the train back. Clean train, very friendly staff. Will do this again!!

Really nice and convenient but no rest rooms

I arrived at 5:58am to get on the 6am train which was at the station already. The conductor is looking right at me while I’m purchasing my ticket, as soon as the machine spits out my ticket right at, or just before 6, he closes the doors and leaves me. He also left 2 other passengers who were getting off a bus that had just arrived. Now the next train doesn’t arrive for another 30 minutes. Also the SunRail app is not user friendly and you’re better off viewing the schedule thru google. SunRail must do better, I woke up at 4:30am to catch this train and rely on someone else to drop me off at the station only to have my day ruined by a compassionless crew. Two SunRail employees were on station platform outside the train when I started to purchase my ticket. Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience.

I needed to get from the DeBary station to the Brightline at OIA. I got on the 7:00 train to Sand Lake arriving at 8:03. The problem comes with catching a transfer bus at Sand Lake. The driver was unhelpful and rude. He didn’t know anything about the Brightline connection and admonished me for not showing my transfer ticket when I got on. Well he didn’t ask me for it! It was my first time. He then pulled in to the OIA A/B terminal and asked if I was going to get off. I said I was going to terminal C but he said that was the end of the line and didn’t know how to get to terminal C. With help from others I finally made it to terminal C but missed my connection.

Love riding the train every day to work. Clean, quiet, and the staff is wonderful. Highly recommend if you can. Cheaper than driving and less stress.

I love the convenience of the station. The Sunrail is a great way to go to downtown Orlando for doctor appointment.

There is one attendant that makes me crazy though. I know she's just trying to do her job, but is it really the end of the world if you don't "tap on?" I know how to use the system. I've been riding it for years. But today was the 3rd time she has chased me onto the train to ask me if I tapped on. I couldn't bite my tongue this time though, I said, "Yes I tapped on, I know how to ride the train!" Please, leave people alone!

Very nice facility here. It's easy to purchase tickets at the kiosk. You can choose either one way or round trip. The nice lady Sun Rail attendant explained with round trip you get your taps on your ticket ( a tap is each time you board or deboard the train). If you wish to add a stop on your way back, just get off the train where you want, then you can buy a one way ticket from there.

Usually a very clean Station. No safety issues ever experienced. Plenty of parking and convenient bus service. Sunrail does not run on weekends.
