Great experience. Called in, got a detailed video walk through texted shortly after my inquiry. Anthony was the sales person the evening I came. He was informative but gave lots of time and space for me to check out the car and give it a drive with no pressure. Each interaction was pleasant and professional, but the biggest thing that surprised me was how their detailing crew could make a used 2015 Lexus (9 years old) look absolutely brand new.

Our experience buying a used vehicle from Ancaster Toyota was absolutely fantastic and that is all to do with our amazing salesman Victor! Victor took the time to show us the vehicles we were interested in and never pressured us to make a decision. When we decided on the vehicle we wanted to purchase Victor worked hard to make sure we got what we wanted. He was so easy to work with and overall is just the most friendly and caring person. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle and that is all because of Victor!

Reading through the reviews, it's clear there are recurring themes regarding this dealership's strengths and weaknesses. Unfortunately, my experience aligned more with the weaknesses. While the GM appears responsive in the comments section, as a customer, I never received direct communication from them—only messages relayed through junior staff.

Rather than diving into the specifics of my dissatisfaction, I believe these reviews collectively reflect how customers perceive the business. I encourage potential customers to read through them to make an informed decision. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this dealership based on my experience, as it fell short of professional expectations.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this dealership. As a refugee buyer with language barriers, I relied on my interpreter to assist me in purchasing a Toyota Highlander. Initially, the process seemed smooth, and I even made a $1000 deposit. They asked me to return in two days to pick up the car.

However, when I arrived on December 7, 2024, I was shocked to see a $1499.99 protection plan added to the bill of sale—something I never requested or agreed to. My interpreter asked for signed proof or confirmation that I had requested this plan, but they couldn’t provide it.

To make matters worse, they tried to get me to sign the bill of sale that same day without my knowledge of the additional charges. When my interpreter insisted on verifying this with the salesperson, they refused, claiming the salesperson was on vacation.

Now, the dealership is forcing me to either pay the full price, including the unauthorized protection plan, or cancel the deal without any refund of my deposit. My interpreter advised me to only purchase cars from authorized dealerships rather than unknown ones, and I regret not following that advice.

This experience has left me feeling deceived and disrespected. I would caution anyone, especially those with language challenges, to think twice before dealing with this dealership. Their lack of transparency and unwillingness to resolve the issue is unacceptable.

Ancaster Toyota has by far the greatest customer service experience I’ve ever encountered. Allan connected with me on the phone and was very approachable that made me come to Ancaster Toyota. When I arrived Josh assisted throughout our journey on finding the right vehicle and was not pushy but instead extremely patient and understanding. He has a wealth of knowledge that made the experience truly seamless and literally defines customer service. Jordan helped me understand all the financial aspects of my purchase and went through the process with great detail for me to understand without any hidden agenda. The sale manager Drew also came to speak with us and shared some amazing stories and made sure that everything was going smoothly and checked if I needed anything. Out of 6 dealerships I went to and encountered Ancaster Toyota is by far the best dealership and makes you feel like family and not just a regular customer. Allan, Josh, Anthony, Jordan and Drew are your main people to see!

Went to Ancaster for my work. Some how the part was faulty that was installed by toyota staff and after long deliberation got it fixed. Initially i was asked to sign a document that had diagnostic fee on it, which legally and technically speaking, I was not required to pay as it was their fault. Though I didn’t paid the new extra fees however not happy that it was asked in the first place. Giving Three star for good work but not so good dealing with me on this. Had average experience as far as customer experience was concerned.
