Visited this place on August 28, 2024 and had a bad experience. Here I am two and a half months later thinking, ‘hey! Feels like a great day for some extremely poor customer experience…let’s go to Barton Springs Car Wash.’ The “greeter” draped himself inside the open window of my car, CHOMPING and SMACKING on blue bubble gum (dyed blue tongue in full view), while we went ‘round and ‘round on which service he had SIGNED ME UP FOR! (No discussion, just smacking and scribbling — him deciding with service I should pay for). He scribbled something that I’m assuming his colleagues will understand and I (stupidly) walked inside to pay. I politely explained to the employees inside about my experience and that I had had a previous for experience, but thought I would give another chance. One very thoughtful employee went to get the manager. She came back, wouldn’t let me pay, and said he would speak to me. The manager (Javier) came inside and spoke with three other people (laughing joking discussing tomorrow’s game), completely ignored me and left. Not sure what else to say other than, you have been warned. So sad that businesses no longer care about customer experience or quality service.

I’ve been coming to Barton Springs Car Wash for years now, and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else in Austin. The team here is amazing—super friendly, laid-back, and not at all pushy. They consistently do an incredible job, both inside and out. What really sets them apart is how much pride they take in their work. You can see it in the attention to detail, especially when it comes to tackling the small imperfections and making sure every inch of the car is spotless.

Whenever anyone asks me which car wash I’d recommend in Austin, I always send them to Barton Springs. They’ve earned my loyalty, hands down. And on top of that, the location is fantastic! It’s right next to a bunch of great restaurants and coffee shops, so you can grab a bite or get some work done while you wait. The lobby area is cozy, and they even have coffee available for customers, which is a nice touch.

I love this place, and I know I’ll be coming here for as long as I’m in Austin. Barton Springs Car Wash really delivers an exceptional experience from start to finish, and I can’t recommend them enough!

This review is for my windshield repair. I got a rather large crack in my front windshield that did not come completely through and it did not spread. It took J about of 10-15 minutes to repair my window and he did an incredible job; It's almost non existent! My car is higher end and the cost was only $150, plus I got a free car wash that I can use at a later date. Thank you J for doing a great job!

SHADY BUSINESS!! Took my car in for a detail and found that the prices are not set, they are "$$$ and up", fine but other places have firm prices. When I arrived to pick up my car, the cashier said that she "closed the register" so I would need to pay with Cash or Venmo. I agreed to venmo even tho I had planned to use my credit card and the cashier showed me her personal Venmo account, not even the business. Something is off with this place, avoid it!!

The work, sub par. Greasy all purpose protectant all over that looks streaky and is now on my arms and cloths. Dirt around the controls, streaks on all the displays, and a poor vacuum job.

worst car wash ever, they used sulfuric acid to wipe my car and it completely melted. They gave me a red and orange hot wheels as compensation which I feel like was insufficient. Now my daughter cannot make it to her appointments for her illness. DO NOT COME HERE they will steal your car buttons and chew up your seats. -0/10

The end result, including the folks handling my requests to due a bit more was handled well. If I had gotten this done at first, it would be 5 stars. Just took more of my time since it took 2 extra times sunce we are selling this 130k vehicle. Again. The supervisors were super responsive to my critical eyes. I do recommend this place. GREAT customer service!!! Pulled up accidentally when they were closed but Javi the owner was there and hand washed my car for free. Such a nice guy and hasn’t raised their prices in 5 years unlike other car washes nearby. Will definitely come back
