It was well worth the drive from Brandon to St. Joseph's main in order to get my 6 year old's labs drawn. The check in process was easy and the staff were very friendly. My daughter felt very comfortable there and it made the process so much easier. Results were added to our patient portal the same day. Just all around good care from BayCare.

**NOT related to the lab at all, I will say we had some confusion coming through the MAB entrance. I was trying to tell my 6 year old to walk around the metal detector and the security guard was waving her into the metal detector. Unfortunately she listened to the security guard and it wiped out her heart monitor. ?. It's unfortunate but was an accident so just be aware you have to pass through one.

The facilities were clean and very family-friendly. They had books, a bead gym toy, and Bluey on to occupy the children so waiting was not stressful. The staff were caring and responsive. They were clearly working hard and busy but didn't rush and took the time to make my daughter feel comfortable with them. The staff demeanor towards everyone in the waiting room was very friendly.

Marta was EXCELLENT!!! Great pediatric nurse that was quick and able to get done after first attempt was unsuccessful and painful for our baby girl by the other nurses.

Found it so convenient as you can go on Saturday's as a walk-in 0700-1200. I went in early morning, between 0700-0800 and didn't wait longer than 3 minutes to be checked in or to be called for blood drawn. Phlebotomists, are very kind and skillful. My child was tearing up, but didn't actually cry. That is how easy it went.

I did had a little bit of issues finding the building, but nothing upsetting.

Call center is open at incredibly late hours, as the day prior to coming in is when I realized my lab order said some other lab name. Called to ask if it would be accepted after 11 pm, and to my surprise there were open.

I know how difficult it is to work with babies so i knew i wanted to go somewhere they had patience and is friendly. Marta was a delight. Made us feel comfortable. Such a sweetheart ?

Marta did our 2 year old son’s bloodwork and she was incredible. We were in and out with no tears - she made it quick and easy, which we thought would be impossible.

From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with pleasant smiles. They made it so easy to get our information, as my arms were occupied with my one year old. When Jackie called us back we were in and out in probably under 10 minutes, most of which was me getting my son dressed again. She was great at keeping my son distracted, informing me of what she was doing, and magically getting minimal tears. I will be taking him here EVERY TIME!
