I recently bought a new car from Bristol Street SEAT, from start to finish the staff were brilliant, my dealing was with Dan Howes, he was great, from giving advice about finance to arranging everything to make sure I had the best possible experience, I had lots of communication with the branch and every time I called I was put through quickly and any queries I had were answered in a heartbeat, another great thing was that they transported the car quickly to make sure it was ready for the agreed date and to also make sure it was up to dealing standards inside and out so it was ready to go. I had a great experience with this branch and all the staff from start to finish, I couldn’t recommend another branch if you’re looking to buy a car.

The after sales is shocking.
I have had a couple of vehicles from BSM in the past, one of them needing repairs that were luckily under warranty. I then got another vehicle from them back end of July 2023. It had an MOT at BSM before I collected the car. We weren’t aware of any extended guarantee. Paid in full for the car.
We asked about the car having ad blue, as we haven’t had a car with ad blue before. Sales rep told us it will show on the dash when it needs topped up. 4 months later we get an engine management light and emissions light on the vehicle. Immediately I called BSM and was told because the car hasn’t got an extended warranty, they can’t help us, and it’s ‘common sense’ to put ad blue in it - was the words from the customer service advisor in the after sales department. She told me it would be a 6 week wait until the next appointment. But my husband went into the service department in Carlisle and was told they could get it in sooner than that.
I’ve had it into our local garage since then, because quite frankly I refused to deal with BSM after the way I was spoken to. Its been in and out, and I’m now told it could be the ad blue tank because it hasn’t been topped up with ad blue (we topped it up last month) but it never showed up on the dash that it needed any!!! And it’s going to cost us £1600!! I rang BSM again today, as I am worried it could be something else and it’s a lot of money to pay in case that isn’t the actual issue, despite having a diagnostic report. Surprise surprise!!! BSM wasn’t bothered and told me I need to take my enquiry to the sales team who missold us the extra warranty and they can’t help us with the issue, because they have no appointments for another 5-6 weeks. Once they have your money they aren’t bothered clearly!!!!

A very helpful and pleasant team at Bristol Street Motors. Martin made choosing and buying my new car very easy and explained everything in detail. I was kept up to date throughout till the day I collected my new vehicle, followed up by a call to make sure everything was OK and not to hesitate contacting the dealership if I had any queries. I would highly recommend this dealership for their excellent customer care and after-sales.

Absolutely brilliant, great staff each and every one. I spoke to Callum , Reece , Martin , Ryan , all the team dealt with all my enquiries without being pushed to just one person . A little family under a big roof , bought a car and had 100% excellent customer service. Honest and genuine and great to do business with.

10/10 service from start to finish from Callum and his manager Martin. Car was delivered to me with zero hassle even though I live over a hundred miles away. At no point did I feel pressured or hassled, in comparison to other companies I’ve previously dealt with these guys really were outstanding. Highly recommend to anyone and I would definitely use them again.
