UPDATE PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE they have sent me back and forth multiple times with 2 young children there is so many horror stories regarding this place my car boot now doesn’t open along with lights coming up on the dash board we are now seeking the ombudsman and legal action! They are criminals Navid should not be working here selling dangerous cars!! Please please think twice about coming here, I did a part exchange with my 2018 corsa for a 2021 new shape corsa with Navid. BIG mistake the car was full of scratches when brought I have been back and forth multiple times with my children which has been extremely difficult and unfair. I was told
The car needed a mot so I had to get this done and drop it in I mentioned the car was screeching and the valve for the wheel was damaged NONE of this was fixed which this should have looked at before buying this car as I was enquiring this car for over a week there was more than enough time to do it. Scratches fixed and then all of a sudden they started to appear again so I had to return back while I was there I was offered a photoshoot with my children which seem suspicious when really they should be taking money off the car! As they knew this was dodgy Elton also said they took something from another car to put on my car?! I then had to call RAC out because a light kept coming up on my dash board and I couldn’t drive as I was worried there was something wrong with the breaks I have 2 very young children I was worried about aswell. They advised me whoever did the MOT was blind and there was no break pads. I immediately rushed to the garage and was greeted by the manager Elton he said the mot costed £400 which is strange as a mot is usually £50 to me it seemed like there was stuff done as I was not shown this! I waited in the waiting room for about 20mins to be told nothing wrong with my breaks they are brand new! and they took me for a test drive! Funny enough surprise surprise NO NOISE the manager knew something had been done but refused to tell me! And made me look stupid! I drove home and not one creek from my car. I took this today to a garage and they told me they have sprayed something on the breaks without telling me so it would hide the sound. My car is now booked in next week to be checked properly by a professional as I don’t know if there is any more issues with the car I am now being ignored by all of the team after multiple emails saying I want to return the car I am being ignored again. I’ve been wasting petrol and time coming back and forth and I have only had this car nearly 4 weeks! This place is a joke and I came here because I had a bad experience at Waltham cross vuxhall and this has just ruined my experience of buying cars forever. They are all happy and give you rubbish talk when you come and look at the cars and then dump you like you are nothing once you buy it. I will never be returning here this is the worst experience I have ever had I am heartbroken. Do not trust the garage here doing your mot or service I’ve seen loads of reviews about this already! PS they have also lost my lock wheel nut and didn’t tick my service booklet so I don’t know if I have had a
Proper service here! Full of LIES I will be seeking legal advice and Santander are I do not trust the car they have given me. Please look else where I can’t believe I have had this car 4 weeks!

£1,500 Down the Drain: My Disheartening Repair Experience with Bristol Street Motors

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent service performed on my 2015 Vauxhall Viva (52,000 miles) at your Chingford branch. Despite paying £120 for the diagnosis and £1,350 for the timing chain replacement, the engine light on my dashboard is still flashing, and the initial issue (rough idle) remain unresolved.

Additionally, the car’s battery went completely flat just 10 minutes after driving away from the repair, leaving me stranded. This raises serious concerns about whether the car was tested properly after the repair.

Throughout the three-week repair process, communication was extremely poor. I had to send multiple emails and make numerous phone calls to get updates on the status of my car. This level of unapproachability and lack of proactive communication is unacceptable.

Given the circumstances, I am requesting the following:

Video Evidence: As stated on the invoice, please provide the free video evidence of the timing chain replacement.
Battery repair: It's very likely that one of the wires on the connector for the alternator battery has been pinched off during the timing chain replacement. Even during my collection of the car I noticed the central locking system not working completely on all doors. I request this to be solved by Bristol Street Motors.
Refund: Considering the unresolved issues and the fact that my car is still experiencing the same problems, I am requesting a full or partial refund for the services rendered.

I trusted your official service branch to provide peace of mind and effective repairs. Unfortunately, this has not been the case, and I am left with a vehicle in worse condition than before.

Edit: A subsequent inspection by another garage revealed several critical issues with the repair:
The main harness to the alternator was not connected.
The upper nut on the alternator was missing, and one of the lower bolts was hanging out.
The induction pipe from the airbox to the throttle body had a loose clamp, and another clamp was missing.
These findings indicate substandard workmanship. None of these battery issues were present before the repair.

Nick, the general manager, has taken no responsibility on any stage of this, so I have escalated this to Motor Ombudsman.
