My Carvana experience was very good. My vehicle was in great condition, with low miles and no mechanical issues. The process was easy and the representatives were attentive, professional and respectful. There was a very unpleasant odor in my vehicle, but since everything else was great, I'll deal with removing the odor.

This was hands down the best buying experience I've ever had. Professional and courteous. Buying and selling was a breeze. I'll never ser foot in a dealership again!

What started out as a very smooth and easy process quickly turned into the ultimate head ache with mind games and being told different things. I submitted all the required documents including the additional ones they needed because I get paid commission. All to get told they won't use the most recent one because it's in the middle of the month? and I can't go any further back because I just started at my new job. I decided to try to use carvana bc my father has purchased from them 3 separate times now but as a family we all agree they will probably never see business from any of us again.

I wish I could give negative stars because I would! The best thing about this car experience was the young lady we picked the lemon up from. Anger cannot express my feelings with this car. My husband picked out and purchased this car for me. It hasn’t even been a year and we’ve already put $3,000 of repairs into the upside down of over $13,000 car he purchased. This car could not be worse! Once I started driving, oh and I’m a home health worker, the car leaks gas, oil, all the batteries went dead, the alternator. Now the electrical system also isn’t working! When I say no one in your facility will even begin to help or make this right! I’m so disgusted in your dealership. When I say RUN any place other than here to get a car!! Run!!

Think twice then don’t purchase your vehicle from this dealership. I purchased my Mazda from them back in June. Issue 1 The day they unloaded it off the truck I had a low tire pressure warning. When I took it to Discount tire they said I would need to have my 2 front tires replaced because the tread was so much worse than the back 2.. which the tire with the leak was one of the back tires..seriously ?! This car has 19000 miles on it. Issue 2 this now car has 20800 miles on it and the dash is flashing a wrench at me that it needs service and an oil change?!! Are you kidding me?! I expected a turn key ready car when I purchased it. Issue 3 not as serious but just as annoying… the tag plate is loose because the screws they used were incorrect and were too long so it just flaps. Shame, never again.

My upfront apologies for such a lengthy review.

The initial steps of the transaction process were nerve wracking! Getting our lender and Carvana to co-operate required a lot of back and forth communication, as Carvana and our lender both have strict criteria that must be met during their review process of all documents.

Also, a word of caution...some Carvana advocates are spreading misinformation regarding the required $1,290.00 "Non-refundable long distance shipping fee" which is included as part of any down payment. I had paid $10,000.00 down, plus the $1,290 shipping fee...and, when the transaction was at risk of failure due to incompatibility of lender and Carvana criteria, I inquired about a full refund of the $11,290 down payment.
The advocate I was speaking to at that time, via phone conversation, said that any refund would exclude the $1,290 shipping fee.

Later, at the last moment, a Carvana advocate, Stefan, approved our lender's initial sight draft. I asked said advocate, Stefan: "If the sight draft had not been approved, would we lose the $1,290 shipping fee?"...to which he replied: "No...if Carvana and lender criteria are incompatible, you would receive a full refund of the $11,290.00 down payment".

During the final process of signing all documents, I learned that the said shipping fee is refundable up until the final signature of the document pertaining to the fee.

My initial perception of Carvana was neutral, and later turned negative after hearing incorrect information from one of their advocates. My final perception, based on accurate information from Stefan, the convenience of picking up the vehicle at the relatively local vending machine, from two pleasantly friendly staff...merited them 5 stars...and, Carvana's vending machine is really cool!

The people were friendly and the experience was great. I was not impressed by the detail work that was done on the vehicle I purchased however. Once I got the car home and really looked it over I found crackers and what I could only describe as scrambled eggs underneath the driver seat as well as food and trash under the passenger seat. Several fault codes appeared the next day and I assume they were cleared by a technician at some point because the OBDII door was left open. Unfortunately after running the codes I learned that the transfer case shift actuator has to be replaced. Nothing like replacing parts after owning a vehicle from a reputable dealer after two days. Once this is replaced and the car was cleaned, it seems to be a great car to this point.

Buyer Beware!!!
I recently purchased a car for my son who is heading off to college through the Carvana site and had it delivered to the OKC vending machine so he could experience the spectacle of getting his first car.
The staff on site were helpful but when the car was pulled from the machine it had considerably more cosmetic damage than was noted in the ad. Two significant windshield chips that were not noted as well as multiple paint chips across the front of the car down to bare metal. The windshield will cost me another $200 to be repaired and the paint damage totaled an extra $1000 on top of the $1,250 Carvana charged me to deliver (and damage) the car during transport. I considered rejecting the car but the $1,250 they charged to damage the car is non-refundable.
The attendant at the store attempted to reach a manager but could not get a response and I was never contacted by anyone on site.
I was given a number for a third-party insurance claims line that Carvana uses and after 2 hours and half a dozen emails going back and forth (along with pictures) they promptly rejected the claim with a form letter response saying this was normal wear and tear.
The ad clearly highlighted a few minor blemishes on the car that were much smaller than those that occurred during transit, but Carvana doesn't seem to stand behind what they are selling when it comes to damage they cause is shipping.
BOTTOM LINE - These guys aren't much better than the corner used car lot on the wrong side of the tracks when it comes to backing up what they sell!!! Zero support.
