I stopped to look at a Pathfinder one day. I was looking to downsize from my Tahoe. Stanley and Jordan came out to see how they could help. They were great about showing and talking with me about what I wanted to accomplish, etc. When I went back for a test drive, they were kind, patient, and knowledgeable. The buying/ financing process went quickly! I've NEVER had a vehicle purchase go so smoothly. I arrived at 4:45 in my Chevy Tahoe, and I left in my BRAND NEW PATHFINDER just before 8!! And Madison was a true Rockstar for getting me an awesome finance deal! I HIGHLY recommend checking them out when you start thinking about getting a me vehicle!

The whole process was quick and easy and the other staff members were helpful also. Dodge and Brad helped with finalizing paperwork and they were just as friendly and helpful. Dream Nissan in Lawrence is definitely the place to go to buy a car! They had so many deals and were so so accommodating and helpful to me and my needs. Autotrader had an’24 z for just under $41k, called, talked to Angela, said it’s considered used but specifically no accidents or hail damage. Drove 2.5 hours (one way) to look/drive. I asked about this car at front desk and said who we spoke to, for how much. Blonde lady (pretty sure it’s Katie Brand, because we got an email from her that morning in junk mail) seemed confused, then she said it’s this one out back. Had someone pull it around for us. I drove 1st, then my husband, making small talk w/blonde lady and a younger gentlemen while waiting, very nice. When husband got back, told salesman he would pay $40,300 plus their $500 paperwork fee (which is crazily priced), blonde lady interrupted and said we weren’t even close. Asked what she meant, said it was the internet sales dept mistake and she called her manager already, from what was said earlier (by me) and they cannot sell it for the listed price. MSRPis $55k. I was instantly mad, saying that’s bait & switch for $15k more. This angered her and we argued heatedly, not inappropriately or no threats, but back and forth. I asked her to call that said manager and let me talk to them. She called, I never spoke to them, then said she would sell it to us for the Autotrader price, but we HAVE TO finance through them. I said, fine, but I’m still putting x amount down. She still wanted to argue that this was a mistake, not bait and switch, as this really bothered her that I would make this accusation. Finally asked to deal with Jason, as we weren’t getting anywhere. Jason did stand up for his manager and said she was trying to apologize. We signed financial paperwork. Jason & my husband talked about hunting, etc. While he was doing his job, blonde lady decided to make a phone call in the other room. Then she went into a dark room with door open (northwest part of the building) and told another lady, in camo pants, how ridiculous this was. I could hear her so I made a comment to Jason and my husband she’s an employee and in there talking about me with the door open. Cool! Little later, a tall caucasian man, brown hair and brown jacket came in, eye balling my husband and me. I told my husband, she called the manager. Then Jason took the paperwork & left his desk. The brown haired/jacket man came over, asked us to step outside. He told us that they have decided not to sell us the car and to leave due to our sensitization at the front desk earlier. We were immediately pissed. So, this isn’t bait and switch and since you were called out on it, you are going to blame us! Watch your surveillance footage from in the store, proof is proof, on who was unprofessional. Yes, outside, there was cursing and almost a knock out, but didn’t go there because we are adults. They wouldn’t give me the paperwork, that’s why it got even more heated. They finally gave it to me. I have wrote the KS attorney general, BBB, here on Google and have ask my lawyer’s secretary if he would be able to take a KS case when he’s from MO and will let me know Monday morning. 5 hour round trip on their mistake…their mistake on the internet, their mistake at the front desk, their mistake kicking us out, making US feel like we were there to take advantage of them!!! Hope you’re happy! Great customer service.

Update: 12/5/2024: at least Nissan of Springfield MO knows how to treat their customers! Thank you for treating us so kindly and like a person should be treated! So happy to have done business with Nissan of Springfield MO!

If you’re in the market for a new or used car, I would highly recommend going to Dream Nissan. They made my first time car buying experience seamless and enjoyable, as they got me into a car within hours! I had the pleasure of working with Stanley. He was very knowledgeable and patient, with a true customer-first mentality. What impressed me the most was his transparency regarding pricing, financing and what he thought would work best for me personally. He explained every detail clearly, helping me eliminate any guesswork. There was also no pressure to make a quick decision, this honestly built a strong sense of trust, which is often hard to find in car sales. The entirety of the staff was truly very nice and I look forward to working with them again when I need to purchase a new vehicle!
