My son has been working really hard over the last 5 months to purchase a vehicle. Facebook marketplace can be quite sketchy, so when he found this car, we went in with some hesitation. We were ready for, you know, the typical "sleazy car salesman" stereotype. The lot is very unassuming and I had my doubts but everyone was friendly and we did not feel any pressure. My son messaged Freddy before we arrived. We were met by a couple of salesmen, and they led us to Freddy. We looked at the car, it was in great condition. We were shown the inside and outside of the car, and they answered all of our questions. The car was manual and I had not driven a manual in a few years, so I was rusty. On the test drive, the salesman had me stop and walked me through the gears (there were no markings on the knob?). He was very encouraging and helped me get back on track. After we decided to buy the car, he gave my son a good deal and we went through the sales process. We purchased with cash, so it was a fairly quick transaction. My son and I truly enjoyed the car buying experience from Florida Auto Group. I would highly recommend checking them out.

Absolute scummy typical used car salesman tactics. Drove an hour after talking to them that car was definitely available that morning only to arrive and be told it was "sold yesterday, but here look at these other cars". Looking at the other cars in their lot every single car had damage. Slimey and unethical don't bother go elsewhere.

I got sold a broken car, that broke down multiple times while within their possession and got no help, months later and i am still dealing with this car with no help from the owner.

Tired to just trade in the broken car for another one from them that i am completely able to do but instead he insists that i go to a mechanic but it had been months of this car and lies, so i no longer wanted to deal with him and he no longer worked with me since i didn’t want to go to that mechanic.

He has awful communication

i got this car at the beginning of september
it broke down when it was sold to me and then when they tried to deliver it to me again it broke down. When i went to get another car i was told my car was fixed and if i wanted i could take it home and encouraged to keep it and not switch to another car. Bc i believed that these were nice people and they actually fixed it and actually did a good inspection of the car i took it again. But it broke down again and i then i tired to get in contact with the owner again about getting another car but it took about 2 and 1/2 weeks of calling everyday asking for him or asking the manger to check in with him for me to hear nothing till one day i called and he picked up. For him to then tell me there is nothing he can do bc it was sold “as is”. But then the next day i called the bank and they said they can change my ownership as long as the owner wants too. With no hope in getting in contact with this man again i tried to get it fixed, i had to find places that work on hybrid cars and paid $500 to get it fixed for it to break down again. That was the beginning of October. Then i finally called him again and told him i need a new car and he tried to get me to this mechanic but it was going on 2 months now with a undrivable car and i had to not move out, i lost major job opportunities ect bc i was sold a broken car.

There is a lot of miscommunication and idk if they fully know what they are doing bc i told them a lot of the things they could do for me.

Sav ur money and go somewhere else all he wants to do is make money and if it cost him anything he will no help you even if he was the one to sell a broken car.

that’s not even all the details but just please do not buy from here, you are better off going somewhere else then taking a gamble on a car that you might be stuck with

they seemed like nice people then sold me a car that was not drivable after 3 months. $5000 to repair. told me there was a mod on the exhaust but it was a broken cat converter that ruined other systems too. was given the car with the tire light on, was told it was just because they filled them up that day. turns out two tires had a leak. wasted thousands of dollars for a car worth nothing. they lied about the car because they didn’t actually know anything about it, and still sold it anyway. stay away

I purchase a $17,000 (cash) van from this dealer it has been nothing but a nightmare, with in the first day we notice oil spill but time, we contacted the dealer “oh no sorry bring it”, e live in Ocala dealer is in Orlando, contact dealer I was told had to wait that the mechanic had time, mean while this van was falling apart, ac stopped working, leakage was bad, all sort of lights on dash were on but we patiently kept waiting. We went to Orlando 3 times demanding the van fixed and/or my money back and they always gave me the run around. Finally the owner tells sales person we can fix but we go half and half on the fix, you believe this, I have all the proof of all I’m saying this is not made up.Also a month have pass and I still haven’t gotten my b tags, which I paid for. Finally I showed up there to meet up with owner and he had me waiting there for more than 3 hours, I was angry, demanding a resolution, or my money the Pam lady that works in that office very condescending, she had no sympathy for what I was going through and called the boss telling him I was making threats but she couldn’t b find him before according to her. The owner called me insulted me and told me b he knew about laws and lawyers and he don’t have to fix my van. Came up with a form that out of his grace of his hard he will have it fixed but was charging me for it, and the mechanic never had time. I financially gave up and gave to my mechanic which had cost me another $6,000 more to fix it ooo and they haven’t even given my money back from what was left over of my tags. Worst dealer ever do not buy here and if you have a good experience great good for you, but vI didn’t she it has cost me a lot.
