I could not be happier with the work recently done to get my neglected car through its MOT and the updates about requirements and costs prevented the dreaded bill shock. Completely disappointed… Bought on trust from this local dealer in a small town expecting a good vehicle whilst supporting a local business… What I bought was a death trap!… Brakes shot, Wheel bearings shot, Exhaust sensors shot, subframe corroded and shot!… Paid over £4k for an end of life vehicle which was instantly a £350 scrap car!… Didn’t bother going back to ask why because it’s obviously a crooked crock.
I won’t be back and I honestly don’t know how they sleep at night when it comes to road safety… The Warranty you pay for is worthless… I’ve scrapped the vehicle!. SAFETY 1st!!

Bought a car of this family a 20 year old car in great condition had it for two years and had a breakdown of not their fault and they came in the middle of the night very quickly and went above and beyond to help. Great service

Atrocious. My mother paid thousands of pounds in repairs to this con merchant and the car was written off! He proceeded also to speak to her very rudely, using an aggressive tone and placed her in a state of alarm. Avoid at all costs.

Phoned Gibb autos in panick when I broke down at the side of road and rac let me down. They made sure to do everything they could to help! First class service even letting me go home after the six hour previous wait for the RAC so I could get warm. Kept me up to date on progress off collection of car. Always very honest and easy to speak to. After going to the garage I recalled they actually came to rescue me five years ago also! They ensured to have my car fixed swiftly for a fair price last time and look forward to dealing with them whilst they repair my car this time ! Thanks for the first class service from everyone I've spoken to so far.

I can honestly say what a wonderful experience I have had purchasing a car from Dave and his family
From start to finish I've had honesty and support
Communication was daily and when the car arrived after Dave had arranged delivery for me as I live 600 miles away in s Wales I was overwhelmed by the condition and spec on the car
The pictures and videos Dave sent me did not do the car justice
Even after I had received the car I received a call from dave to ensure I was happy and said if I need any further assistance or advice to contact him at any time
? per recommend this wonderful family run business and would definitely use again and again

Beware single ladies, the owner of this garage got verbally aggressive when I questioned his bill. I am sure that he would never have spoken to a man the way he spoke to me. This all came about because I questioned a bill of £156 for a quote. Yes, for a quote! Damaged panels to the outside of the vehicle so no need to take anything apart or get under the vehicle. It is not that I don’t think I should pay for a quote/time to allocate parts and get prices but he did not tell me that there would be a charge and he then charged me for two hours of a mechanic’s time on a commercial vehicle- £65 an hour plus VAT. The receptionist told me that she had been the one calling suppliers to source the parts but when I repeated this to Mr Gibb he just shouted some more at me, indicating that he had worked on my camper van but this was not true, he had done no more than a brief visual inspection. I know for a fact that my camper was never on his premises and remained parked on the road where I left it. Here is a photo of the reply that I received from Trading Standards when I asked if you can be charged for a quote, it states that his behaviour towards me was misleading, unfair business practice. Charging me for a qualified mechanic when the work was done by the receptionist is bad enough but what really upset me was the way he shouted at me and then had the receptionist stand over me while I made a bank transfer before giving me my keys back. The whole experience was very intimidating and upsetting.
