I decided to buy the car on the spot, and Amanda walked me through the sale and delivery process.

I’m super happy with the car. Added bonus is the Bond villain (Elon Musk) gets a couple pennies less.

My faithful 2013 hybrid Prius was really showing its age, and I decided it was finally time to buy my next car! I made an appointment for a test drive at the Lucid Studio in the Westfield Mall in Century City. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Amanda - an extremely knowledgeable and charming person who never tried to ‘sell’ me the car. I dragged my daughter and one of my friends along with me, and Amanda was kind enough to let each of them also take turns driving the car. I’ve never driven an electric car before and initially was a little nervous. But almost immediately I settled in and began to really enjoy the drive. Beautiful interior, incredibly spacious and comfortable, two sensibly placed and sized touchscreen displays. Lots of driver assist features that I found incredibly helpful. Despite all the tech, driving the car was still relatively intuitive. Impressively powerful. I could go on and on. Short version - I fell in love!
Back in the studio with Amanda, I chose my color and finishes (Zenith red metallic, stealth), and was delighted when Angela told me that one was available. Amanda was always available in the subsequent weeks to answer all of my many questions.
I picked up the car from Torrance a couple weeks ago (Lucid arranged for Lyft ride there) and on the drive back, listened to my music selection on the Lucid’s incredible sound system! I’ve really considered myself a ‘car person’ - but the Lucid experience has totally changed that. Even LA traffic doesn’t seem so bad.
