This was the first time I used this service and I found it to be a positive one.

Notes:
1. I received and accepted the best offer which was about 5% under the Motorway suggested value.
2. You can’t list many options or extras so higher spec’d vehicles may not get represented well.
3. Staff on the phone had been polite and responsive.
4. The guidance given on the app after the sale is very helpful.
5. The buyers of my car Martins Renault of Winchester and more specifically Keith the manager messaged me quickly, collected on time and overall seemed to be about as nice as you could wish for.

Despite some reviews I read which caused concern, I had a very good experience and hope you do as well.

Don’t bother with these.
Went through the process, added all the required photos. Went up for auction, got a good price. My car needed to be collected from my workplace not my home address so I went through the process of doing it 3 days before the car was due to be collected. Motorway never changed the details on the information for the driver. I was told I had to wait another week before it could be collected. Waited for confirmation and the day before it was supposed to be collected they cancelled the sale.

Re uploaded it. It was sold again, the dealer came to collect it and said the car needed a new engine (it didn’t, it has been seen my my mechanic who is a specialist in my vehicle type) who gave it the green light. When asked to elaborate he couldn’t tell me why. He said he would offer £600 less than he had bid because it needed a new engine and got annoyed when I said to leave it. Missed out on 3 potential cars I could’ve bought because of these. Claims to add on average £1600 more than part exchange, but I have ended up getting £450 more by doing part exchange.

This is the second time I have sold a car through Motorway and find it the best way to sell. Only criticism is that it does not list the extras that we had fitted at manufacturer so feel losing out on offers for the vehicle which should of potentially increased its value.

Would recommend Motorway to anyone thinking about selling their car. First time using this service instead of trading in your car at a showroom. The app guides you through the process very easily especially when taking the photographs. Very happy with price offered and accepted. Car pick up arranged and money transferred into account instantly.

Dealers side kick turns up ,flags the car off then the dealer offers less,if they have looked at the photos that should be it.
It's always the same, seems to be the norm.
They think they have you by the b××ls,and you will take less .
Stand your ground ✨️
Reckoned the front needed painting and wheels were curbed

Truly the most crooked experience I have had. Terrible, fraudulent company. Received an offer, then a company came to see the car and starts d claiming that engine was leaking oil and gearbox was leaking oil. Then continued to offer me £1400 less than the agreed price. Obviously none of this was true! I have sold the car privately for much more. Stay well away as motorway has zero control over fraudulent traders that try to trick you into selling much cheaper than agreed pricing.

Amazing service. We were offered a great price and we got exactly that. Take photos of the car using their app, get an offer, someone comes to inspect car, they take loads of photos and do a test drive and that’s it. The money was in our account before the collection chap had even told us it was all good.

Would definitely recommend and use again!

A fantastic way to sell a car. I gave it a clean, took some photos, got a price and then waited a day to see how the bidding went. As long as you’re upfront about the condition and history of the car then the handover should go smoothly. The agent who came to collect the vehicle was incredibly professional and waited for the money to clear in my account before leaving. Highly recommended.
