I recently upgraded my Land Rover to a Discovery Sport model and I'm delighted with it. A quick phone call to arrange a viewing was all it took. John was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. We took it for a short test drive so I could get a feel for it and my mind was made up. I wasn't part exchanging my old car or taking finance on the one I was buying, so John gave my a really good deal.

After a bit of research we found out perfect car here, travelled the 5 hour round trip to test drive and left a deposit, thankfully John had plenty of patience as there was an issue with the bank but eventually got it sorted and made the trip to pick up the car, everything went smoothly and John was a treat to deal with.

100% can't recommend this garage enough, service from start to finish was perfect.

John was responsive and amenable, offered a fair trade, six months warranty and did a full vehicle service. When the service was delayed due to part availability he drove the vehicle out to me on a weekend. Aside from banks being banks, would recommend having your bank OTP for fraud checks sooner rather than later. A nice and easy no pressure sale.

Met John. Took a test drive in the car we were interested in. Were then offered a sound p/x price for our trade in and “Bob’s yer uncle”, we were on our way home in the new car. All done and dusted in under 90 minutes. 10/10.

Arranged buying a car in that autocentre, paid the deposit but ended up not getting the car since I found out resident’s parking wasn’t allowed in my area. I have contacted John telling I have found out I wouldn’t have been able to get my parking permit; therefore, I would need to cancel the purchase. I didn’t get my deposit back and was ignored.

Bought a car from Peebles Autocentre in early 2024. John was extremely helpful throughout the process. Car was in great condition and was offered a good price for part-exchange. At no point was John pushing for a sale (which was appreciated). A very good experience - would recommend.
