I would give zero stars if that was an option.
The front office ladies were extremely rude and have absolutely no hospitality services, I would have gotten better service at a fast food restaurant.
Thankfully I wasn't a patient, but a visitor.
The hospital is dirty, the cleanest part was maternity. Protocols of the nurses was questionable.
They have a tendency to shove certain beliefs down your throat. There isn't much freedom to do with you baby, what you choose to do. There was amazing nurses but also condescending nurses too.
I would never recommend St Mary's for any obgyn services.

Nurses are the best! They care for you like if you were family. I’m forever thankful for my nurse Karen Ford! Girl you got me out of my bed after surgery. Your love, care, prayer, and encouraging words helped me get up and walk. Forever grateful! Also thank you to nurse Willie, Lori O, Muriel, and Alyssa for making my week go smoothly. God bless you always.

Although this place was over crowded I have to give it up to Steven that worked in Emergency room. There was actually 2 Steven’s. They both were so kind to our mother. They understood our needs when asking questions. We checked in 7:55pm and still are in the emergency room waiting on a bed at 4:35am but they continuously are checking on my mom and putting us at ease during the long wait. Thank you Providence because no matter how understaffed you are you are working so hard together through it all. First hospital I ever been to where even the police on site are even nice and made sure patients and visitors were okay. Major shot outs to both the “Steven” guys for making this visit to this hospital all the way from Oklahoma welcoming for us! You rock!

December 8/24 around 10:30 second time had a problem here in two weeks. This time my wife is in the hospital and I go check in that was fine getting my name tag and the lady told me to go down the hallway at your first left make a left never said anything about going through double doors so I knocked on the door it does say employees only but the woman let me in anyway the first time to see my wife on the second day she has been here and still not being treated for pneumonia only Morphine and I think some Norco for pain. I had to go out and get my wife a charger for her phone went to the same door and a guy answered I told him when I checked in this is where they told me to go and he wouldn’t let me in with attitude. I’m just following instructions from your worker who I checked in with. This guy all he had to say is go through those double doors that were about 15 feet away instead of attitude and saying I’m not letting you in this door. Great service from staff members maybe he might be better in a different field of work if he doesn’t know how to talk to people and treat people like dirt. Ya I guess he thinks he can get away treating the elderly people like this and get away with it but not in my book. A couple weeks ago I ended up here at around 4:00 pm until around 11:30 pm and was diagnosed with pneumonia was given treatments medication for 10 days and when I went to my doctor for my appointment he said going by the paperwork I didn’t have pneumonia and still today December 10th I still have pain in my side that I went in for in the first place. I have to add this part in when I first got checked out by a nurse she was asking me all kinds of questions while doing my blood pressure and I told her I had problems in the past from an ultrasound a few years ago and at that time it felt like a knife stabbing pressure and right now it feels the same way and yes my doctor knows about this problem too. I have had this problem off and on for years from a bad kidney ultrasound. Maybe if they took the time to listen what I had said in the first place I wouldn’t have been diagnosed with pneumonia at all and fed with medication I didn’t need at all. What is not funny at all I get treated for pneumonia that I never had and my wife needed treatment for pneumonia and never got help for pneumonia just don’t get it. More updates coming soon on what happened to my wife over the weekend. My wife is at Desert Valley hospital now for pneumonia and getting very good treatment. She was transferred to this hospital on the 8th of December. Don’t know why yet she was transferred and it took most of the second day of her being in this hospital because we were told no beds available yet at Desert Valley hospital yet from the nursing staff to a different hospital for pneumonia. Actually at this time we didn’t know she had pneumonia until we got to Desert Valley Hospital. Nobody gave us answers on what the doctor found out what was wrong in the first place. We were told by the nurses that our insurance did the transfer but when I called the insurance that night to complain she said they didn’t have anything to do with the transfer when she looked it up on the computer. When my wife was being treated a little girl about 9 years old was being treated by a nurse and something happened that the mother didn’t want that nurse helping her daughter at all anymore mother was really upset I guess more training needed for staffing at St Mary’s Hospital. I just brought down my two star down to a one star with the rest of the one stars. Maybe since I posted a small review on the guy at the beginning of this review maybe that’s why they wanted us to be transferred. I was going to let my part go about treating me for pneumonia that I never had but now what happened to my wife at this hospital I decided to say all that happened with my wife and I. December/14/24 was released from Desert Valley Hospital from having pneumonia for a week. December/17/24 I filed a complaint with the (Patient Relations Coordinator).

Worst ER ever, I had surgery Monday was having a complications that could of been solved with a catheter inserted. Instead they take my blood and I sat for hours waiting for the catheter to be inserted to relive the pressure from my bladder so my stitches did not tear. After a couple hours my husband took me out of there to another ER that immediately fixed the complications. Attempted to make a complaint nobody answers there phone. I will never go to Providence St. Mary ER again. Please contact me for details anyone higher up

This review is for the OB/GYN & labor and delivery department. The staff were awesome, professional, and have great customer service. They made us feel as comfortable as possible, provided the circumstances. The only bad experience was the interaction with one of the security guards and the lack of parking that there is.

good and bad. Good care in the ER this time, really bad last time. (MisDiagnosis). But this time they sent Rxs to the wrong pharmacy, and even five hours on the phone to a dozen different people ,four who hung up on me including the doctor who treated me, very well, (Dr. Blanscet), did not help. Four others did not return calls after I left messages. Kind of leaves feeling cold about whether they really care much about their patients. Three hospital stays in the past left a great deal to desire, but I did Survive. Hospital is probably in the bottom 15% in California, but my opinion probably doesn't count for much.
Need ER? Roll the dice and go here , if you like to Gamble with your Health.

This hospital has absolutely no compassion towards patients being seen for emergency services. Almost every staff member has an unwarranted attitude and treat you as if you are lying. Their labor and delivery nurses have terrible attitude when you’re not giving birth. My son will NOT be delivered here whatsoever.
