It was interesting to go see this Ortodoks Monastery. I had to wear long jeans, like info wall told.

In Finland we have one allmost same kind of monastery; "Valamon luostari". Visited that too year ago. There was lot of people, but this monastery here was place to calm and make prayers to God, through Jesus. Only me at the church.

Interesting church, lots of conservatism what is good. But not my beleiving way. I am a Lutherian.

Gived 5$:s to the charity box, because it is nicer to give than get...

But God helps me to get what I need and many times I awake; it was miracle!

Interesting place to visit. They do welcome visitors. They have a cafeteria where you can get a snack. Also there is a book store.

This monastery represents the true meaning of life out of this world, the quiet place and the seclusion makes for a perfect monastery. The monks are super nice and turn away no one. The renewal of the body and spirit happens here. I highly recommend anyone who wants to benefit from the Coptic orthodox faith. And the starters of the monastic life to come and learn to meditate and about the Christian life of a monk.

I’ve been here and let me tell you that this place is full of evil and it feels evil here this place doesn’t feel right stay away I don’t recommend dirt road very unsafe to drive on as well

Spent a few days retreat with a group and loved it. Monks were very kind to us. We got spiritual guidance and got the blessing to work and pray! God bless the monastery and its service!

For copts: the same feeling as you enter or visit the monasteries in Egypt
For non-copts ..go there to take a break from the world noise and listen to words of wisdom from monks who left everything they have and own for their true love of God.
