Thought it was a great church until I went to register my family. Lady said out loud another immigrant while looking at my wife. I served 25 years in the military, so the religious freedom of others can insult me. This is a church of older people that will most likely close when they are all gone. Go to St. Joseph Catholic Church, where you will be welcome no matter your ethnicity

I was visiting the Winter Haven area over the February 10th weekend and attended 10:30am Sunday Mass. It's a large Church with a very large parking lot, they offered me a ride from my car to the door in a golf cart. Excellent Homily and while the Church was almost completely full I was able to find a seat and found those seated around me to be very friendly and welcoming. Nice experience and would recommend St Matthew's to any Catholic who may be in the area and looking for a welcoming place to worship

This is a really great church for the people. The Parish is very welcoming and uplifting in spirit. Fr. Nicholas O'Brien is just incredible and undescribable having that special touch in delivering the homilys. Understandable and precise in his teachings. Feels like my second home because of the peace, love and forgiveness I have learned to find here. If your looking to connect with God you will find him in this Church but remember God does not become a part of us. We become a part of God. That involves transformation of the mind, body and soul. It's a process and the church is the key the start, never give up hope. Always have faith and remember God loves you!

As a resident of the community, I should not have to hear the continuous bells trolling all day. Do the courteous thing and turn them down or keep them to Sunday. Early morning ringing is not enjoyed by everyone. Be a good neighbor.

I love my church so much. Everyone is super nice youth group for the kids Is so fun then confirmation classes are interesting and not boring at all

Love this place! Worship is reverent without being stuffy. Adding a jazz riff to a standard revitalizes it with a joyful spirit in counterpoint to other parts of the service. Love the welcoming spirit here and the pastor and staff, especially the Saturday greeter, and Frs. Nick, the bearded priest and the senior priest with the walker. Sorry I've blanked on their names:( The BUCS just lost 11 to 24 ?
