⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I cannot express enough how incredibly grateful I am for the exceptional experience I had with Lisa Knight, the foster mom to the most adorable 5-month-old Persian kitten, and St. Francis Animal Rescue team. As a first-time adopter, I had a lot of questions and concerns, and Lisa went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth and enjoyable.

Lisa's responsiveness and patience were truly commendable. Despite my countless inquiries, she remained kind, polite, and unwaveringly patient throughout the entire adoption journey. Her knowledge and expertise in caring for feline companions were evident, and she took the time to address every single one of my concerns with a level of detail that put my mind at ease.

What sets Lisa and the St. Francis Animal Rescue team apart is not just their expertise but their genuine kindness and willingness to assist. Adopting a pet is a significant decision, and their encouragement and support made the entire process not only manageable but genuinely enjoyable. Their dedication to ensuring that both the adopter and the furry friend find the perfect match is truly heartwarming.

St. Francis Animal Rescue is fortunate to have a team member as remarkable as Lisa. I wish more people, not only in the rescue community but everywhere, embodied the kindness and helpfulness that Lisa and St. Francis Animal Rescue team exemplify. They made me feel not just like an adopter but like a valued member of a larger community of animal lovers.

If you're considering adopting a pet, especially a precious kitten, St. Francis Animal Rescue team are the ones you want by your side. I wholeheartedly recommend them, and I can't thank them enough for making this adoption experience truly memorable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have fostered for St Francis for several years. I’ve met some really amazing people from volunteers to adopters and have gained a wealth of knowledge about cats. I love all the kitties! It’s incredible this organization is all volunteer run and has been since it was established. It’s a huge sacrifice of time, but it’s so rewarding.

I have been a foster mama for several years with Saint Francis Society Animal Rescue. I love their website we use to set up their profiles on their personalities and needs along with pictures and videos. I have looked at other more local rescues and have not seen the same. I feel the information is important to find the right fit. I have had cats all my life but have learned so much more about them while fostering that I regret some things in my past. Such as bringing a male kitten home to a less active female adult who wanted nothing to do with him. This caused behavior issues in my grown male and he can be a bully. He never learned to play properly as a kitten. He’s also a territorial pee-ER that he needs medication for. This is the reason we don’t adopt out kittens younger than 5 months as an only kitty in the home. They can develop bad traits and end up being returned to us. Our foster humans have a lot of knowledge and are always helpful. I have a full time job with USPS and looking forward to retirement when I can devote more time to bottle babies with this wonderful rescue team!

Helped me with 2 stray kittens that were living in my yard and needed to be spay/nutered to avoid more litters, and one needed surgery on a bad abscess on his hind leg, even trapped 3 other strays in my area to help the cat population died down a bit as I live across from a park which is a pet dumping ground. They came to me to help trap, they transported them to the vet that helps them and paid for all the medical treatment and surgeries. I have texted Linda for advise on several occasions since because the 2 kittens now live inside only with me along with another older male stray we had been feeding for a few years. This rescue is amazing and I try and donate when I can cause they really help stray animals and have foster families that try and home young kittens♥️

St Francis Society is a wonderful resource, the foster parents take in cats and kittens that are abandoned and sometimes very sick, and take care of them and then help all of them find a good home. Best rescue in Tampa!!! I have dealt with them a few times, recently for some very young and sick kittens and was able to place the babies with a kitten critical care foster mom. These kittens will live and thrive thanks to Kelly and Connie. Highly recommend!!!

I have fostered for St. Francis for four years, that's about four hundred cats and kittens taken off the streets and coming through my hands. It's wonderful to have all the necessary supplies, access to vet care, and adopting outlets online and through the stores. Fosters also have final say in determining if the adoption would be a good fit. Sometimes it isn't. It's all about the best interest of the cat. We take them from sick, hungry and dirty discards to beautiful cuddle buddies, and we never want them to end up in bad situations again. We love them, nurture them, take them to the vets, stay up all night worrying about the sick ones, bottle feed the tiny ones. We want you to love them and keep them safe for the rest of their lives. Please support St. Francis!
