So.. I stayed here for two weeks before, during, after Thanksgiving because I got kicked out of my house and was in the process of finding a new place. Let me say, you get what you pay for. Plennnnnnty of shady characters. Definitely don't want to go on a night time stroll here. Thanksgiving morning, someone knocked on the door at 1am. I ignored it, knocked again at 3am. I got lucky to have the window that wouldn't shut and lock properly. This dude starts opening my dang window. Told front desk but they didn't give any comfort or reassurance. Room phone doesn't function and they never pick up if you call them from your own phone anyhow. Days later a lady pounds on my door, then my window. I shout and she had the wrong room. She later locked herself in the room next to mine and her boyfriend has a yelling match with her for 30 minutes sounding like he's about to break the door down. Found 5 drug needles in the sink drain which I discovered hitting the garbage disposal switch, one of which flew out. One of the tub faucets was broken and wouldn't shut off the water properly. Internet was super spotty. Maintenance didn't do anything about the former. I give this 2 stars because the bed was decent, the fridge, microwave, and AC functioned. And I got a good laugh about the advertised "pool" because it was filled in with soil and grass.

Positive: The bed was comfy. The water pressure was good. The AC worked. Other than that?yikes. Negative: Walls, doors and baseboards and one towel were dirty. No trash cans, iron or luggage stand, only one hanger in closet. Burn marks on bathroom floor. Strangers knocked on door twice. Bugs. Worn/imperfect is ok if clean and ok vibes - this was neither.

I have traveled to more than a dozen countries, more than 20 states, and even slept outside for long periods of time due to my time in the service. I would have rather willingly broken 3 of my fingers than stay here again, my fingers would heal, but the memory of this place will last forever... This by far was the WORST place i've ever stayed. The place is riddled with crack heads, drug dealers, and any other illegal activities you could think of. I stayed for 5 days and 4 nights and every day I got back to that hotel, I found at LEAST 2 roaches in my room. If you decided to eat in your room, the roaches would come out in sub 15min every time. There was also a dead MASSIVE New York sized rat on the stairs for several days that was not taken care for at least 3 days. On my first full day there, I had left for an extended period of time and arrived at my hotel room to see that it was cracked open, to which I find that my duffle bag with all of my clothes and home/car keys had been stolen. I go to the front desk, the employee tells me to call the police as he contacts his property manager. Police tell me to call 311, 311 says that a detective will contact me in 2 weeks... Awesome. So the employee tells me that the property manager is the only one with security camera access and he already left for the day (Friday). So I switch my room and I come back the next day to see if he is here, they tell me they don't know when they'll be back. On Sunday, I finally talk to someone that notified me that he will be back on Monday after 8a.m., perfect. So I go to check out Monday after 8a.m., guess who is not here and nobody knows when he'll be back? The Property Manager. So I speak with the Front Desk Manager and she tells me he won't even be back for the rest of the week (Christmas week) and more than likely won't be here for New Years week as well. Fantastic. I give the Front Desk Manager my contact information and she gives me their business card and Property Managers 1st name (Bill). It has since been almost 3 weeks since then, and I have radio silence. I suspect as I was walking to my room when I initially arrived by one of the many law abiding citizens outside in the parking lot at 10am on a Thursday, OR it was stolen by an employee or contractor working cleaning the rooms or doing work in the building and they're trying to cover it up, I don't know. Still no word on anything about cameras and was even told by an employee that likely this mythical property manager was probably going to tell me that the hotel is not liable for any stolen property. Ah... Very well... Also their version of a breakfast was a broken coffee machine and watered down orange juice.... It was cold though... Oh, and none of the TV's worked in either room and both refrigerators also did not work. I highly advise any self respecting person to pay a little more money to stay at the hotel 100ft. north of it or on the other side of the highway. You'll thank me later.

No ice machine, room phone didn't work, no closet, no coffee maker. Although it did have a microwave, a kitchen sink/garbage disposal, full size refrigerator, nice picture on the wall and a pretty cool bathroom mirror. But had many cigarette burns on the tub, bathroom floor and some roaches running around.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, able to get extra towels, pillows and sheets upon request and they had a decent Continental Breakfast.
I gave 3 stars because the location was not the greatest, hard to pull into, people knocked on my door looking or advertising things. But, there are clear signs that they are attempting to improve the facility.

I've done nothing but kill roaches. Couple were crawling on the bed. I'm beyond disgusted. Traumatized really.
I'm going to sleep in my car where I will sleep in peace.
This room is straight out of a horror movie. Don't come here!!!

Positive: super 8 x 8 terrible. I can't even check in to this super 8 x 8 dirty hotel. I ran away with fears there is no room to check in. and the hotel has no one to answer .... insecure with people walking around starring at you. feels like life in danger. Absolutely One of the nicest gentlemen. I've ever met behind the counter of a hotel. He was very professional, his place was clean spotless, smelled great and the beds are absolutely comfortable. Breakfast is perf3ct and checkout is nothing. I highly recommend you stay here and see for.yourself

The staff here is really nice. They have a good breakfast set up and are very accommodating. The facility is clean and it isn’t crawling with weirdos like some motels are. It’s less than 10 minutes from south congress and homeslice pizzza!!!
