First experience:
The brisket was chopped up and dry, pulled chicken was very salty. I got 3 ribs and there wasn't any meat on them and what was there was very dry. The sides were good!
I feel like if you are going to eat here,do it early in the day, We got our food about 5pm. (I will change review next time I get to try the meat when it is fresher)
The total with tip for family of 3 was $89

We had ribs - soft, tasty - rival some of the best we've had! We had the corn bread and Mac and cheese for sides. These were also great though the portion size was pretty small. My husband and I split a full rack meal and have leftovers for at least one more meal. So happy to have a bbq restaurant in Indianola!

I think this place has room for improvement. I ordered the ribs, question for the cook. Do you cook the meat with any sauces or is it just smoked? The ribs are super dry, you think your bbq sauce that is somewhat hidden on the wall is going juice up dried meat? I’m sure you probably have other great dishes but will I be back?

All the employees were very nice and easy to talk to. The food was amazing we ordered the rib rack and it was cooked perfectly the meat just fell right off the bone without a struggle. The lemonade is amazingly delicious as well and the way the sauce dispensers r setup is awesome just like a cows utters definitely a place to b going for a date or family dinner and we will definitely b going back here for sure

Kansas City born and raised BBQ girl in Des Moines and I came to say these are the BEST ribs I’ve had. I’ve been searching for the last 5 years to find anything comparable to KC BBQ, and this is IT.

We got the combo platter: 3 ribs, 2 meats (jalapeño cheddar sausage and pulled pork), 2 sides (Mac & cheese and jalapeño cream corn) and a drink. While the pork and sausage were just okay, the sides were great and the ribs, I’ll be dreaming of the ribs. They were well seasoned, juicy and cooked perfectly. I am not a huge fan of sloppy, fall off the bone, sopped in sauce ribs. These are not that. You actually have to bite into it, but the meat releases with zero effort and maximum flavor. To me, the sign of great BBQ is excellent flavor without having to add BBQ sauce. These ribs are it. Perfect. Will drive 30 minutes just to get them again. Also, the homemade pickled onion was not something I’m used to but could eat a pint of on its own.

The restaurant is new, it was FULL. We got our food and drove to a nearby park to eat. Quick friendly service, can’t wait to go back!

Tried out The Concessions Stand yesterday. BBQ is my husband’s favorite type of food. I like it too. I tried a corn dog, Mac & cheese, and a BBQ Chicken egg roll. All were delicious. Mac & Cheese was creamy & a touch of garlic! Loved it! The egg roll was a surprise and delicious! Corn dog was a good treat since I usually only get at the fair. My friend got ribs and they were very moist. Was glad to see they sold meat only by the pound.
I took brisket home for my hubby. He thought it was delicious as well. Moist and well seasoned. He loved their baked beans. I wasn’t a fan because they had red peppers in them.
I’ll be back!

When I walked in none of them look like they wanted to be there. The person I went to lunch with that got her order wrong. Brisket was dry, the burnt ends wasn't quality. I ate two bites of food and bagged up the rest of my food so I can doctor it up when I get home. Makes matter worst $60 and a tip was provided before I sat down. Never again.
