This was the first dealership I went to looking for a car & they did not disappoint!! Very reliable & trustworthy!! . I've had my car going on 1 month & I've had no issues. They even helped me out by letting my other car stay there for a day . Very respectful & responsive if I need anything ! Definitely worked with me & not against me ! Thank you guys so much ! ?

My salesman Ned was great! Very helpful and attentive! I had the worst customer service from the finance manager. He was extremely rude made no eye contact didn't explain anything to me, i left Toyota not knowing what warranty and what my purchase included. All he wanted and kept pressuring me to buy extended warranties on the vehicle. I was really stressed out and didn’t have the time to argue because I really needed a car, but I know I could’ve gone somewhere else and received better service. He was so messy and rude just had me sign everything and literally not explain anything to me. He also mentioned that I should really purchase warranty because he has a Toyota Corolla Hybrid and they break down lol. The guy was so worried about me purchasing extra warranties. I told him multiple times I wasn’t interested because I had a budget on the payment. But he kept insisting it was so uncomfortable. I regret not walking away. It’s crazy. I purchased almost a $40,000 vehicle and I don’t know what warranties my car came included with and if I get any services or what I get with it I’ve been so busy with work. I haven’t had a time to call yet, but overall it was horrible. The guy was in a hurry to leave. He was on the phone like 50% of the time he was sweating he was in a hurry. I just felt like he was bothered with my presence which is very unprofessional and sad. I was lied too. They told me at first my deal came with gap insurance and it turns out they took it off without advising me and then we had to add it back on. The whole deal was just a mess. Im so mad I don't know what my car comes included with i received no paperwork or anything. I have to contact Toyota and ask. Overall very rude no empathy towards me at all and poor communication and very inconsistent. I deserved better. Never going back to this dealership again. They need customer service training here.

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with the service department at Toyota Downtown LA. After my car was vandalized and some items were stolen from inside, I arranged to have it repaired at this dealership. Unfortunately, my experience with their service team was far from satisfactory.

From the start, communication with the dealership was a major issue. My insurance company, which was handling the claim, struggled to get timely responses from the dealership. Despite repeated attempts to reach out, there was a significant delay in communication, both with the insurance company and with me as a client. This lack of responsiveness was extremely frustrating and contributed to an overall feeling of neglect and disregard.

The repair process itself took an inordinately long time. The dealership held my car for two weeks, a duration that seemed unnecessarily prolonged given the nature of the repairs needed. During this period, there was little to no proactive communication from the service team about the status of my vehicle, leaving me in the dark about the progress being made.

Finally, after two weeks of waiting, I decided to visit the dealership in person to check on my car. To my dismay, it was evident that the car had been ready for some time, but no one had bothered to inform me. This level of negligence was simply unacceptable.

The interactions I had with the service staff were equally disappointing. The service manager present at the time appeared completely disinterested in my concerns and needs. He had ignored my calls throughout the process and showed no empathy or urgency when I spoke to him in person. Similarly, the service advisor, Jonathan, offered minimal support and lacked effective communication skills. Their combined lack of professionalism and customer service left a lot to be desired.

Given the poor experience I had with Toyota Downtown LA's service department, I hope to avoid returning to this location in the future. I would not recommend this dealership to others based on the significant communication issues, prolonged repair times, and the indifferent attitude of the service staff. It is my hope that they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to provide better service to their customers in the future.

My husband and I bought our new car at this dealership 3 days ago. This is our first time in LA, we just moved from NYC. We literally landed the same day we got our car, we really appreciated the kindness of our car salesman (David), he made the process smooth and fast for us. I personally have never met a nicer car salesman than him in my life, he showed us all the vehicles, talked to us about pricing and features with transparency and made this process easier and less stressful for us. We will be forever grateful to him, if you want to get a car in this dealership definitely ask for him. We love our new car ♥️

'I recently purchased a 2025 Camry
XSE Hybrid from toyota of downtown La
my salesman
Wilson, highly recommended for his outstanding
service. From the moment I walked into
the dealership, Wilson made me feel
velcomed and valued as a customer

Wilsons knowledge about the Camry XSE
Hybrid was impressive. He took the time
to explain all the features and benefits
helping me understand how this vehicle
aligns perfectly with my needs. What
appreciated most was his patience; he
answered all my questions and never
pressured me into making a decision

One particular instance that stood out
was when Wilson took extra time to walk
me through the advanced technology
features of the car, ensuring I was
comfortable and confident before
driving off. His dedication to customer
satisfaction truly made a difference in my
buying the car am thrilled with my new Camry XSE
Hybrid and grateful to Wilson for making
the process smooth and enjoyable. I
highly recommend reaching out to Wilson

Original review:
Brought my car in to get a software issue dealt with and it’s been a week and they have been holding my car hostage despite not working on it at all. When I went to grab something from it they couldn’t even find it because it was just sitting untouched in their parking garage. They stopped replying to all calls and texts from me and my car is still there!

Edited to add:
So when I went to get my car after being told it was ready for pickup (after nine days of being at the dealership) I discovered that the software issue hadn’t been fixed! When they looked into it on their backend they saw that the “service ticket had been closed” indicating that it was done but in fact nothing had been done and my car was sitting in their parking structure untouched for the whole time. Finally after I came in I stayed there while another person came and looked at the car. They said that the issue wasn’t fixed but since it wasn’t a safety concern I could take it back and whenever they figured out what was wrong I could bring it back to the dealership. When I got into my car it literally had exposed wires and cables falling out of the drivers side near the brakes (adding a picture for proof) so I got out of my car and asked what was going on. They had no idea. They had me stay an extra hour and a half only to send me back home in a loaner. A few hours later, they called saying the issue hadn’t been fixed and it was ready for pickup so I went again and asked what they did and whether the issue would come back. The answer to both questions was “I don’t know” because apparently the shop foreman just did something, declared it fixed and then left without documenting what was done to the car to fix it. We had asked when first dropping off the car to make sure it had all the software up to date and when we asked if it was, they also said “I don’t know.” As of now I still have no idea what was done to the car. It’s also generally insane to me that a business this large is so incompetent at simple procedural tasks such as documentation and record keeping. Apparently this all happened because my original service advisor went on vacation and decided to close the service ticket instead of actually get the car fixed. Wonder if this level of insanity happens every time someone at the dealership goes on vacation.
