The team at fair deal autos are impeccable, I had an ongoing issue with my car that no other garage could seem to rectify while still being offered ridiculous prices , I therefore turned to Fair deal autos after a recommendation and was greatly surprised by the high level of customer service I received throughout my experience here that is rare to be see, I felt they constantly had my best interests at the forefront of their care while maintaining great transparency with the diagnosis of my cars issue. The problem was dealt with very efficiently and at a price that demonstrates significant value for money.
Do not hesitate to use Fair deal autos, great service and they have returned my car in a state that feels brand new again,

Always had a great experience with Fair Deal Autos. They get the car booked in quickly and are very prompt with repair. Always keep me up to date on the progress of the repair and when the car can be collected. The service is professional, from booking to the quote for repair and vehicle collection. Reception staff are friendly and the mechanics are very helpful even when it's a quick drive in repair!

I had a lot of work done on my Astra Elite, including the exhaust, in October.
Fair Deal Motors informed me of work needing done and gave me the option of going ahead or not (either fully or partly). I opted to go ahead and was delighted with the work done.
In the last couple of days a single knock has developed from the exhaust when the engine is switched on. I took it back to Fair Deal Motors today and they’ve adjusted the exhaust fixings, free of charge, and the knock has gone.
I’m more than happy with the company and how they go about their business. I’d definitely recommend them.

5/5. Been coming to Fair Deal Autos for years now and it’s always been a great, efficient service. More recently, I was having some problems with my tyre and had to make a last minute call on Christmas Eve. They managed to fit me in and get the issue fixed the same day, which will allow me to travel on Boxing Day! Can’t recommend enough.

Absolutely horrible experience when I took my car in for servicing.

1. I specifically asked them to place the best tires on the back, but they did the exact opposite. When I questioned them, they insisted it was because my car is front-wheel drive. After contacting the manufacturer, I confirmed that my car is actually rear-wheel drive.

2. They also told me that my car doesn’t have tire pressure sensors and that I needed to install them in each tire. Again, after checking with the manufacturer, I was informed that the sensors are already built into the car and function differently. Clearly, they had no idea what they were talking about.

3. To top it off, they didn’t reset the mileage after the service, something I only noticed six months later! Now, I have no idea when I need my next service, which is unacceptable for a professional service station.

For a place that’s supposed to be experts, this level of incompetence is shocking. I will never be going back to them and strongly recommend others avoid this place at all costs.

Very disappointed with my whole experience with this garage.
Dropped my car off on the date and time agreed only to be asked if I was sure of the date and time, as there is no booking for me. Yes I’m sure there‘s my booking there pointing out to the receptionist my registration details against the date and time my car was booked in for in her diary. Only to be told my booking had been cancelled as there was a line through my information. I asked why it had been cancelled only to be told “ I don’t know it has a line through it and another car is in its place”
I reluctantly left my car with the garage after being told that they could fit me in but it would be later in the day.
I had to call the garage re: my car being ready at 5 o’clock only to be told I wasn’t getting it back that night. I work in Edinburgh and live in West Lothian with my daughter to collect from after school club.
Two days later I finally got my car back.
Again on collection of my car the manners of the girl on the desk very much needs improving. Very rude! Will not be back!

I put my car in on 23rd December to get fan belt fixed & got it back on 24th Dec & also got it done for free. Staff says It’s Xmas time, Absolutely amazing garage. I’ve been going for a few years now. Any probs get sorted by the team asap. Great staff
