Just took my husband to get his new truck. From the minute we pulled up a week ago Justin was super helpful. Really an all around great, down to earth guy. You could tell they were all Christian and very straight forward people. All of the employees made us feel welcomed and you can tell they want to sell you what you want, not what they want. Very quick and pleasant experience!

I have waited about a year to post this review I was wanting to give everyone, every chance possible, to rectify the issue. The only reason for the second star is Ryan because I really feel like he tried his best to make this right. We purchased my car around June of 2023. My husband purchased for me, a 2017 BMW 540i (blue), beautiful car. Upon purchasing, the AC was not working. Northlake told me that they would get it fixed on their dime and "make it right." So, we signed the papers on the car. The salesperson, Ryan, was amazing, and definitely went above and beyond. Micah gave me his personal number and although hit or miss, tried to walk with us each step of the way. Northlake put me in a loaner (or 5 as it seems every car I touched, would sell) and put my car in the shop at Dallas Motorworks next door. About three weeks later, I picked my car up from Dallas Motorworks and was told the issue was fixed. I picked the car up and took it home after a couple of revisits about parts not being in, delays due to staff, not being able to figure out what's wrong etc. I asked if they could have the car brought to Brian Harris in Baton Rouge to have the BMW techs look at it and they said they were experiencing significant delays as well, would put the BMW factory warranty cars ahead of mine, and if it needed a full replacement they would probably just total it. I finally got the car back around early October of 2023. By then, it was starting to cool off, no need to really use the AC. It starts warming up outside again in February of 2024. This is an account of what happened next:
Message 1: Saturday February 10, 2:00PM
"Hey Micah, hope you are enjoying the Mardi Gras season. I just want to let you know that my air conditioner is starting to go out again. Can you please look at my warranty and see what I can do as far as it covering a full replacement at this point?"
*preface to this questions: I was told that if the full AC needed to replaced then warranty would probably total the vehicle so we wanted to try and avoid that*
Message 2: Monday February 12,1:41PM
"Hey Micah, Happy Lundy gras. Let me kow if you got my last message. I need to get this done before summertime comes. Thank you.
Message 3: Immediate response
"Hey! Well thank u!!! Of course I can def look it up for ya! Hey what's your ur last name again ill get it right to ya
*I responded with my last name and then NO COMMUNICATION*
Message 4: Tuesday February 27, 2:56PM
"Hey Micha, just letting you know the air conditioner is still out. I was looking forward to (personal event) but the heat makes the car undrivable so I am looking at getting a rental. It's 82 outside so I would really like to know what I can do about this. Have you had a chance to look at the warranty? Thank you."

I currently have done the following:
With 2000 miles left on my Superior Protection Plan warranty, I brought the car to Brian Harris and have been without it for about two months. Brian Harris charged me $600 to vac, recharge, and program the AC because the warranty did not cover that. They gave me the car back and the AC still wasn't working. I took it back and Brian Harris let me know that the compressor needs to be replaced, total cost $3093. The warranty will cover all but $670 which I will need to pay out of pocket and even then, this might now be the fix. If additional contamination is found, there will be additional repairs.

As it stands, I am out $1700 in repairs and about 4 months in the past year without my car that we are paying a note and insurance on. This is just the AC, There was an additional $7000 worth of work that needed to be done not involving the AC which left me stranded in the middle of Baton Rouge (no accident, only put 19k miles on the car this year, easy miles)
I will be posting the account of my experience to every consumer, social, and regulatory site as well as attending business networking meetings to give my account as well.
