1 yr later and the car I bought from them is still running with no issues what so ever. All I've done to this vehicle is basic maintenance like oil changes and one that's right one tune-up.

Went by today 9/23 to go look at a 2005 Toyota Solara with a good buddy of mine and I offered to go on this trip to make sure he didn’t get screwed over and BOYYY LISTEN:

Car was advertised at 134,000 miles, no accidents, one owner, never driven in snow, garage kept, and well maintained. Before we arrived we pulled a CARFAX on the VIN just to be sure and turns out in fact, that the last odometer reading was from 2022 and was reported at 209,000 miles, had 4 previous OWNERS, spent most of its life in MICHIGAN, and had in fact, been in a major accident. So we arrive and give the man a chance to be honest, knowing all of this. And here’s where it goes downhill.

First he says that the miles aren’t true, but they may be off by a few hundred miles, so he knew what he was doing by saying that, to cover his behind. I asked him if it had been in any accidents and he said no, no accidents. He also said the price was firm at $5000 and we had to pay tax title and license so out the door at $5800. I had to correct him because we are from out of state and we don’t have to pay Texas taxes, he said that wasn’t true and I had to argue with him until finally he agreed. So the new price was $5200.

My buddy and I discussed it and he was willing to take the car as is, but at this point it’s not worth what he was asking due to him having it advertised with 80,000 less miles than was last reported. And he basically told us to kick rocks and his price wasn’t negotiable so here’s where it gets interesting.

He told me his name wasn’t Sam, and that Sam was his boss, even after the mechanic addressed him as Sam. I asked him why he was lying about every aspect of the car including his own name. His business card doesn’t even have a last name but apparently it’s “Pasta” according to the licenses and certificates on the wall behind his counter. I told him I would keep quiet about this experience if he agreed to sell us the car for $2000 and he proceeds to pick up the phone to call the cops on us. He asked me to have a seat and I’m thinking “why, so I can wait for whoever you’re going to call to show up?” It definitely wasn’t Houston PD because we sat on hold with non emergency dispatch for 2 hours before we finally got someone on the phone to file a report for falsifying odometer reading and shady business practices. As we were leaving he pops his head out of his office and takes a picture of my license plate and now I have to worry about who he is connected with and who he plans to send after me.

His name is either “Sam Pasta” or “ Mohammad Shoaib Pasta”, there were different licenses on the wall with different names but according to other reviews, he is in fact the owner of this business.

Sam, or Mohammed, whatever your name is.. I gave you a chance to be honest, I even gave you a chance to make it right after you lied about literally EVERYTHING INCLUDING WHO YOU ARE, and you still got confrontational and tried to call the cops on me. Don’t worry, this won’t be the only platform I write a review on. As a business owner myself, I could have never done this to a customer that is trying to earn my business. And if anyone decides to use this business for anything at all, BEWARE!!!!!!! There’s too many shady people in this world and he among one of the WORST!!

I found an ad on CarGurus for a Hyundai Sonata and called the listed number to schedule a time to check it out and take it for a test drive. I spoke with the owner, Sam, and we agreed to meet later that day. After driving over 45 minutes across town, I arrived only for him to tell me he couldn’t find the keys—despite knowing well in advance that I was coming. He gave me some excuse about a personal matter, which, frankly, is unacceptable. We all have personal matters, but that shouldn’t affect how a business is run. Instead of apologizing, he tried to push a different car on me that I wasn’t interested in, followed by an unnecessary rant about how he’d stay rich no matter if people buy from him or not. Overall, it was an unprofessional and frustrating experience. A complete waste of time—wouldn’t recommend.

Well, I wish I could put all the negative ways this man speaks to you on here. Very rude, impatient man and belittles woman. Dont buy from here. If you do, 24 to 48 hrs later your check engine light comes on then realize the sold a lemon. Especially during this crazy season of storms. I tried to call and see if he could help but got screams and told its as is. I understand the law but how can you as a human sleep calmly at night, knowing your business is a fraud. So save your money people dont shop here. Also better business bureau has been reported. Sam!!!!!!
